Maseru, Dec. 09 — Parliamentarians will return from the Christmas recession on Thursday, to listen to the United Nations Secretary General’s speech.
Mr. Antonio Guterres will address both National Assembly members and Senators during a joint seating in Maseru on the same day the Agency established.
A letter issued by Clerk to the National Assembly, Advocate Fine Maema headlined ‘Third Special Meeting of the 11th Parliament of the Kingdom of Lesotho’, shows the meeting will be held at the New Parliament Building Maseru on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 2:30pm.
This recall as according to Advocate Maema is done in terms of Standing Order No. 14 (2) so as to welcome the UN Secretary General in Lesotho.
