MPS TO BE BRIEFED ON CHALLENGES FACING CANCER PATIENTS

Maseru, Oct 31 – The Starlight Oasis of Hope Hospice will address the Members of Parliament (MPs) about the challenges facing cancer patients in the country on Thursday this week.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mrs. Tsépang Tsíta-Mosena read a letter from the Starlight Oasis of Hope Hospice on Tuesday, which sought permission to address the members.

The organisation, according to the letter read by the Deputy Speaker said they would want to address the House to raise awareness about the challenges that cancer patients and their  families face on daily basis, such as constant debilitating pains, loss of jobs, mobility challenges, expensive medical and laboratory charges (scans and cytology).
