Maseru, Oct.31 — The leader of the Revolution For Prosperity (RFP) also serving as the Prime Minister of Lesotho Mr. Ntsokoane Matekane has announced the joining of more political parties into coalition agreement with the ruling parties.
Speaking at a press conference held in Maseru on Tuesday, Mr. Matekane said that due to the political feuds that are ongoing in parliament, the government of Lesotho which was formed with 3 political parties Revolution For Prosperity (RFP), Movement for Economic Change (MEC) and the Alliance of Democrats (AD) will be taking a new turn as more parties Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD), Basotho Action Party (BAP), HOPE as well as LPC Alliance will be joining into the government.
He indicated that the coalition government is still waiting in hope the support of other political parties such as United For Change (UFC)
Mr. Matekane mentioned that this agreement shall include new changes which are already on table for discussion by the parties’ legal advisors. . .
