Maseru, Sept. 04 — The Government officials who were appointed to work at National Covid-19 Secretariat (NACOSEC) are playing duck and dive game, this was seen during the Public Accounts Committee interrogation on Monday regarding the Auditor General’s report for the financial year 2020/2021.
During the interrogation, the newly appointed Acting Principal in the Prime Minister’s office Mrs. Mapeo Matlanyane kept shifting the questions to the then Chief Executive Officer Operational Support Mr. Thabo Ntoi who also did the same.
They both kept doing the same for almost an hour to two, the Chairperson of the committee Mrs. Machabana Lemphane-Letsie through the other committee members decided to adjourn the meeting saying the team must come back tomorrow (Tuesday) well prepared.
