PEOPLE URGED TO STRENGTHEN THEIR ONLINE SECURITY

Berea, Oct 02—The Lesotho Internet Society Chapter (LISC) has encouraged people to strengthen their online defence against any cyber associated risks by protecting their passwords.

LISC issued a stern warning as the global countries commemorate October as earmarked Cyber Security Awareness month which is marked under a theme, “Secure our world”.

Speaking to LENA, LISC Secretary Ms. Thato Mampe said lately the internet has turned our world into a global village where people can interact with friends and relatives online and a lot of information sharing is involved through such a process and making people more vulnerable to cyber risks…
