MASERU — The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation Mr. Kanono Ramashamole says Science and Mathematics are pillars of any economic development.
This, he said when officiating the opening of the 56th annual National Science Fair held in Maseru from Wednesday, which is organised by Lesotho Science and Mathematics Teachers Association (LSMTA)


A three- day event brought together around 600 students across the country with the objective to amongst others, showcase students scientific and innovation ideas and put whatever they learnt in the classrooms practically.
Mr. Ramashamole said both Mathematics and Science are engines that drive national development and innovation thus this annual even is a fertile ground for naturing the next generation on innovation. . .
