Maseru, July 31 – Announcements for payment of old age pensioners are made on Radios collaborating with the Department of Social Development.
This was said by the Department’s Public Relations Officer Mrs. Mpho Makhetha in an interview with the Agency, following grievances from some old age pensioners regarding unreliable pay dates.
Mrs.Makhetha said they make announcements at Radio Lesotho, Tsénolo and other Radio stations if there are changes on pay dates or new ones, adding that officers who pay beneficiaries announce dates for next payments during the pay day.
