PETROLEUM FUND HOLDS TRAINING FOR LMPS 

Maseru, Sept. 26 — Lesotho Petroleum Fund held a training for industry and fuel compliance for Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) in Maseru today. 

This was a workshop for police in 10 districts of Lesotho. 

When opening the workshop, Mrs. ‘Makananelo Kome, CEO Petroleum Fund mentioned that they believe that every Ministry needs to work together to inform Basotho about the responsibilities of the Petroleum Fund. 

“The main duties of the petroleum fund is to price fuel in Lesotho and to ensure that prices are the same throughout the country,” said Mrs. Kome. 

She indicated that this is the training on the laws and regulations that guide the operations of fuel to avoid fuel fraud. . .
