Qacha’s Nek, Oct. 9 — Commissioner of Police Advocate Borotho Matsoso has urged the public to stop bribing police officers.
“Bribery will end if you refuse to give it,” he stated, emphasizing that evidence of officers accepting bribes is essential for accountability.
“We’ve had enough bribery, and it must end under my watch. I will dismiss those involved in unethical conduct,” he declared.
He stressed that police officers engaging in criminal activities will face consequences, urging them to stop shielding each other. He pointed out that criminal activities must be addressed, regardless of their position.
