Maseru,April 20 — Despite the issuance of motor vehicles that the government of Lesotho has issued to the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS), their response to alerts is still very poor.
This was said by the area chief of Motimposo Chief Leloko Majara Theko in an interview with the Agency on Saturday.
In this interview, he indicated that the Mabote Police station which his village is served at still responds late to public alerts with the same excuse of lack of vehicles.
He said that such late responses need to be attended to as at times people can lose their lives or even some communities resort to mob justice.
