Maseru, Feb.27–The Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) has shown concern of the usage of drugs within the youth in the country.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, Public Relations Officer of LMPS Senior Superintendent (SSP) Kabelo Halahala said the sad part about the indulgence of youth is that the drugs are being sold by elderly people.
He said elders are destroying the country’s youth as they are the potential leaders and future of the country.
Senior Superintendent Halahala further urged perpetrators to stop selling drugs to youth as some of them end up dropping out of school and committing crime to get their dosages.
