PUBLIC SERVICE DELIVERY PROJECT SHARED WITH STAKEHOLDERS

Quthing, Nov. 11 – – Heads of government and non-government departments in the district have been sensitized on the Lesotho Public Sector Foundations for Service Delivery Project (LPSFSDP) during a half-day stakeholders workshop organized by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.

The LPSFSDP is a five-year initiative by the Government of Lesotho, funded by the World Bank with over M227 million and managed by the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning. The project aims to strengthen public sector performance by improving expenditure controls and enhancing service delivery through digital administrative platforms.

Presenting at the workshop, Mr. Mpho Makakole, Senior Economic Planner and Environmental and Social Specialist for the project, emphasized its focus on capacity building across key ministries which include the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning due to its role of managing government funds and Ministry of Public Service with among others managing payroll system…
