Beijing, Nov. 06–Professor Zhai Yun says data is becoming a new asset and resource, driving the optimal allocation of resources such as capital, technology and talent.
He was addressing participants in a seminar on exploration and practice of Chinese Modernisation for developing countries, on Thursday in Beijing.
The integration of the digital and real economies, according to him, is increasingly supporting the dual circulation, development paradigm, and providing a powerful impetus for building a new development pattern.
He noted that China has built the world’s largest fiber, optic network and 4G network, also mentioning that the penetration rate of fixed broadband in households has reached 96 percent, while the penetration rate of mobile broadband users has reached 108 percent.
