RECRUITMENT OF YOUTH IN MOKHOTLONG MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Mokhotlong, July 3 — To combat unemployment, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport began youth recruitment in Mokhotlong, Thabang, where youths were seen in numbers alongside elders on Thursday.

This initiative was carried out by the Roads Directorate to recruit youths who will be employed in the maintenance of the A1 road from Hakotsie to Mokhotlong Hospital. The same activity occurred in Tlokoeng Mapholaneng earlier in the year.

Speaking to some of the youths who registered, Mr. Khotso Rantso said he is happy for the opportunity, although he had anticipated that they would be given at least three to six months to work. He stated that the salary for such a long period would make a difference in their families . . .
