Maseru, Dec. 31 — An ugly head of revenge and retaliation murders is rising as a 37 year-old man has been murdered on Monday night in what is suspected as retaliation by some Seakhi gang members.
Sello Majoro was shot dead at Ha Tsunyane in Roma by unknown gunmen.
Eyewitnesses said he was crossing the road from a liquor shop when two gunshots were fired and he fell lifeless on a pavement, before the gunmen disappeared in the dark.
“We rushed to him but found his lifeless body in a pool of blood and the two men just left and disappeared. Nobody could follow to see who they were because we were all scared,” an eyewitness who preferred anonymity said.
