Jiangsu, Nov 26—The People Republic of China, Vice Minister of Water and Minerals Mr. Liu Dongshun says rivers are the blood life of earth, source of life and a pathway to civilization.
Vice Minister made the remarks during the 2025 Yangtze Culture Forum (YCF) held at Jiangsu Province, Nanjing under a theme, “Flowing Rivers, Converging Future”, which gathered together world leaders, dignitaries, academics from around the globe.
Mr. Liu pointed out that China has invested much on water resources management and to ensure rivers stability for national prosperity and the human wellbeing, highlighting that for years ago the Communist Party of China (CPC) national congress has always expressed interest on rivers.
“The CPC leadership established the plan to protect and promote the implementation of the national river strategy, river basins protection and governance and high-quality development of ideas on natural resources management”, he highlighted.
