ROAD USERS URGED TO BE VIGILANT

Maseru, Sept. 24 – Road users are urged to be vigilant and abide with road regulations as graduation ceremonies and other festivities will be taking place this season.

The Principal Road Safety Officer Mr. Setsoto Putsoa appealed to motorists in an interview with the Agency to avoid overloading, over speeding and drunken driving as traffic is expected to increase this season tagged along with the National University of Lesotho Graduation ceremonies commencing on Monday.

He also urged motorists to take precautions about the weather, switch on lights when it is cloudy and rainy as well as to reduce speed as roads become slippery when it is rainy to prevent accidents.
