Maseru, Sept. 05 — Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Dr. Retsélisitsoe Matlanyane has appointed Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko as the new Commissioner General of Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL).
Announcing Mrs. Mokoko’s appointment, Dr. Matlanyane stated that the appointment is made in terms of Section 17 (2) of the RSL Act, adding that it is the section that gave the Board an authority to start the process of finding a replacement which involved procurement of a private recruitment agency in line with RSL recruitment policy.
Dr. Matlanyane said the good thing is that Mrs. Mokoko is no stranger to the revenue collection environment, having served in the organization for many years, in various roles.
