RSL PLANTS TREES IN KOROKORO

RSL PLANTS TREES IN KOROKORO

Maseru, Nov. 14 — The Acting Commissioner General of the Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), Mr. Rakokoana Makoa on Friday led a large scale tree planting initiative at Hatabutle in Korokoro, marking another milestone in the organisation’s environmental stewardship efforts.

In his remarks, Mr. Makoa said the initiative reflects RSL’s commitment to making a positive impact on communities across the country.

He explained that the programme began in 2023 as part of the organisation’s 20th anniversary celebrations and has since been adopted as an annual environmental event.

‘This year, we managed to plant 2,000 trees. Our hope is that the community will protect and nurture them so that together we contribute towards environmental conservation,’ he said.
