SENTSO ON MISSION TO BUILD REFS TEAM

Maseru, Jan. 08 — Referees Coordinator, Mr. Mohau Sentso says he is on a mission to build a team of local referees who will officiate in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to avoid the current situation where Mr. Souru Phat’soane is being partnered with match officials from other countries.

Speaking at the wake of Mr. Phat’soane having left the country for Ivory Coast where he is going to officiate in this year’s edition of the AFCON finals which runs from this coming Saturday February 11, this year, Mr. Sentso said he already has a plan to build a team of four local referees.

He believe that sooner his dream will become a reality where Lesotho will have a central referee and his two assistants as well as the fourth official.
