Maseru, Nov 02 – Minister of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police Mr. Lebona Lephema says single sourcing was used for the tendering method to purchase Mahindra vans and Honda Fit vehicles in accordance with Public Procurement Act 2023, Section 101 (f) and (g) and Section 8 (a) which applied to Honda Fit.
In his response to questions asked by the Basotho National Party (BNP) leader Mr. Machesetsa Mofomobe, Mr. Lephema through Minister of Gender, Youth, Sport, Arts, Culture and Social Development Mr. Pitso Lesaoana said Smith Auto Group (Pty) Ltd was awarded a tender for purchase of Mahindra vans.
The Minister said Metro Cars A.R.M PTY LTD was awarded a tender for purchase of Honda Fits. . .
