Mokhotlong, Nov. 26 — Members of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Cluster visited Mokhotlong on Wednesday to collect youth views on the National Youth Development Bill 2024.
It is a Bill intended to establish the youth institutional structures, to provide for their functions and programmes towards a meaningful youth development in Lesotho.
Institutional structures include National Youth Council, National Youth Development Agency, National Youth Service and National Youth Workers Council.
Held at the Youth Centre premises in the district, the consultative meeting saw youth suggesting that all institutional structures should be independent and strictly be youth-led.
