SOS LAUNCHES YOUTHCAN PROGRAM 

Maseru, Dec. 15 — The SOS Children’s Village unveiled its transformative initiative, the YouthCan program targeting young individuals, signaling a vital step towards addressing unemployment issues among the youth. 

Mrs. Mateboho Sekhesa, the Board Chair of SOS, emphasized the organization’s core objective of nurturing families for children in need, guiding them toward a prosperous future, and fostering the development of their communities.

During her address, Mrs. Sekhesa stressed the importance of mentoring youth to become entrepreneurs, particularly crucial in tackling the pervasive problem of unemployment. She highlighted the immense potential of young people in driving essential changes, especially in an era dominated by advanced technology.
