SPEAKER OF NATIONAL ASSEMBLY CALLS MPs TO ORDER

Maseru, Mar.17 — The Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane has on Monday urged Members of Parliament (MPs) to refrain from harassing one another in the House for efficient delivery of services.

This he said when referring to an incident that occured in the House last week, whereby some MPs implied that the Leader of Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD) Mr. Mothejoa Metsing is selfish.

He appealed to MPs to put this matter to rest in a clear manner as per standing order no 43 (5), saying it is an improper motive to insinuate an MP is selfish… LR/BM
