Thaba Tseka Feb 02 – The Thaba Tseka – Bokong route committee has sacrificed its money to pay for the maintenance of the road where it has been badly damaged and is causing damage to their vehicles.
This happened on February 02, when they even started doing the job themselves after the inspection identified spots and quarries used by the Department of Road Chief Technical Officer.
Speaking in an interview with the Chairman of the Committee Mr. Mbuyaze Khehlane he said they had put out M5,200.00 to pay for a load of quarry to fix the three identified spots, one at Ha Laka and two enroute to Kolberg.
He said in those identified places when it has rained heavily dams are formed and their vehicles are forced to swim in there, but when it has not rained they hit the ground and get damaged. . .
