TESTIMONY BY FORMER COMPOL CONTINUES  

Maseru, Jan.30 — After taking a stand on Monday as the 14th witness in a case in which nine members of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) are accused of killing Brigadier Maaparankoe Mahao, Former Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Mr. Khothatso Tsooana on Tuesday continued with his evidence. 

While under cross-examination by one of the defence lawyers Advocate Qhalehang Letsika, the witness admitted to having skipped ranks to become the COMPOL. He stated that he became a Senior Inspector in 2010 then Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in 2013 and the Commissioner in 2014. He indicated that he skipped the ranks of Superintendent, Senior Superintendent and Assistant Commissioner of Police.  . .
