Maseru, Jan. 19 — Maseru Region Transport Operators (MRTO) have decided not to increase transport fares this year based on the current economic meltdown.
MRTO Public Relations Officer Mr. Lebohang Moea told the Agency in an interview that they reached this decision during their meeting held on Saturday.
Mr. Moea said as much as they want to increase fares annually, they cannot deny the fact that the country is hit by high rate of unemployment and economic meltdown thus the majority of people are broke . . .
