Maseru — Entrepreneurs Mrs Moipone Yagama of NTJA EA GAME and Mrs Mamokone Connie Liphoto of Cograbig PTY LTD have shared key advice for aspiring entrepreneurs in Lesotho, urging them to remain focused, passionate and resilient when starting their businesses.
In an interview with the Lesotho News Agency, Mrs Yagama advised that new entrepreneurs should be cautious about hiring employees too early, noting that this could expose a young business to risks such as theft and loss of capital.
She further emphasised the importance of starting a business that aligns with one’s interests and passion.
Reflecting on her own experience, Mrs Yagama said some of her past business ventures failed because she relied heavily on opinions from people who did not fully understand her business direction.
“Do not fail your new business by not believing in it. Most importantly, believe in yourself and be patient. Be willing to stay motivated and improve, even during difficult times,” she said.
Mrs Yagama added that entrepreneurship requires bravery, passion and consistency, warning that lack of these qualities can put a business at risk. She encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to be actively involved in all aspects of their businesses, including marketing, sales and branding…
