VILLAGE HEALTH WORKERS TO DOWN TOOLS

Maseru, June.10 — In order to make their grievances heard, Village Health Workers (VHWs) across the country will on Wednesday halt services.

This was disclosed by Lesotho Workers Association (LEWA) Secretary General Mr. Hlalefang Seoaholimo in an interview where he said the workers have resorted to following several deliberations which have yielded nothing.

He said that among the grievances the workers complain of meagre salaries saying that they get M800 monthly instead of the legal wage which is M2400. . .
