WOMEN, GIRLS DESERVE RIGHT TO LIVE – LESAOANA

Berea, Aug. 20 — Minister of Gender, Youth, Sports, Culture and Social Development, Mr. Pitso Lesaoana says concerted efforts are needed in order to end violence and brutal killings of women and girls.

The Minister made these remarks on Saturday after the District Football Association (DIFA) Berea procession from Teyateyaneng Correctional Institute to Lioli ground which was observed under a theme, ‘killing is a crime, end brutal killings of women and girls”.

Mr. Lesaoana said it is high time that women and girls live freely in the country, adding that God has created both women and men equally, therefore men have to take a key responsibility of protecting women.
