Maseru, Mar.10 — To show their concern over the continuous killings of women in the country and call for action against them, women from Teya-Teyaneng in Berea marched to the High Court of Lesotho holding placards, asking the court to deny bail application by Jeremane Sekhohola who is charged with the murder of Matsepang Moleleki.
It is alleged that Sekhohola, a recently resigned police officer, was in a relationship with Moleleki and he stabbed her to death on February 17 2025 after she ended the affair.

Speaking in an interview, a Member of Parliament (MP), also a member of Women’s Caucus Mrs. Malelaka Malakane stated that it is high time women take action to protect their rights.
Mrs. Malakane remarked that when God created a man, he created them to become protectors and caregivers not what they have become. She said women are killed each day, children raped and disappear adding that perpetrators are men. . . .
