WORLD VISION STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY RESILIENCE TO DISASTERS 

Maseru, Feb. 18 — In a bold move to improve disaster preparedness and response, World Vision Lesotho and the Disaster Management Authority have collaborated on a Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) Training of Trainers. 

This initiative aims to equip communities with the necessary tools and knowledge to mitigate risks and build resilience against disasters.

The training  focuses on empowering key responders with life-saving strategies, including mitigation, response, and strategic planning for disaster risk management. The focus is on safeguarding children, providing protection, and strengthening community resilience.
