Maseru, Feb. 18 — The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Ethiopia, Nts’iuoa Sekete, has congratulated Brigadier Ketseletso Mofoka, the Defence Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, on his recent promotion to the rank of Brigadier in the Lesotho Defence Force.
The promotion comes after a series of promotions within the Defence Force last week, which saw several officers elevated to higher ranks.
Among different groups promoted, was a significant move for five warren officers, Class 1 Moneuoa, Motleleng, Lesitsi, Rapotete, and Makoro – have been promoted to Senior Sergeant Major positions. These promotions follow the retirement or resignation of officers due to health or age reasons.
Ambassador Sekete expressed her congratulations to Brigadier Mofoka in a statement, saying, “I want to recognize and congratulate Brigadier Mofoka on his promotion to the rank of Brigadier. This is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and dedication to service.”
