YOUNG HIKERS INSPIRED BY LETSEKA

Mokhotlong Nov.05 — A 78-year-old man Mr. Letseka Letseka of Lithabaneng in Berea was among the 220 hikers who joined Thabana Ntlenyana Hiking Adventure Club in its fifth anniversary celebration of establishment in the district this weekend.

Mr. Letseka managed to complete the trail of 24 kilometres that started from Koti’s Phola and climbed the Thabana Ntlenyana mountain to Sani Top without any complaints on Saturday.

Even on Sunday morning the old man who looked younger than his age was still fresh and did not complain of muscle pain like most hikers who are far his juniors did.

In a brief interview with Mr. Letseka, he said that he started to join hiking events eight years ago, adding that now he has taken hiking as one of the activities he enjoys the most. . .
