Maseru, Oct. 25 — Youth with expertise from different fields took turns during Sebabatso Youth Empowerment Forum to pitch their businesses before investors.
A three- day forum, which brought together investors, Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Lesotho, the private sector and youth, is intended to persuade investors to support youth businesses.
Each youth was given 10 min to pitch a business and in his pitch, Rethabile Lesenyeho who specializes in Technical Skills in Arts and Crafts said demand in crafts remains high in his business thus needs to train more youth and avoid working in silos to avoid compromising quality of his products which he said are produced through local materials such as moseha, willow and corn leaves amongst others.
