YOUTH SPOT OPPORTUNITY IN PLASTIC

Maseru, Oct. 25 — While the world is dealing with plastic as a major environmental hazard, a young Mosotho man has spotted an opportunity of how well plastic can be recycled.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Political Science holder Mr. Lehlohonolo Mathe said that he makes paving bricks through plastic waste.

Mr. Mathee indicated that the bricks are water resistant and can be used for other activities such as septic tanks.

He mentioned that to test the durability of the bricks, they filled potholes at Ha Leshalaba with the bricks a few months back and the results have been positive.
