YOUTHS ACQUIRE SKILLS AT TEYATEYANENG  

Berea, Sept 09 — The Department of Youth in Berea has kicked off a weeklong youth camp at Thakaneng Youth Resource Centre whereby 50 out of school youths are being equipped with skills in various sectors of life.

In his remarks, Senior Youth Entrepreneurship Officer Mr. Libako Mohapi made a strong emphasis that every youth has a right to access equal opportunities either being educated or illiterate, hence the initiative to engage out of school youths to be equipped with life skills as part of giving them a ray of hope in life.

Mr. Mohapi said lately the juvenile rehabilitation centres are congested with ever increasing numbers of youths and the primary cause of such issues inclusive of peer pleasure, criminal activities, while others are addicted to drug and substance abuse. . .
