ACCUSED STRUGGLES TO SECURE COUNSEL

Maseru-Aug.25 — The Magistrate Court of Lesotho through Magistrate Lerato Ntelane has on Monday postponed to September 02 2025, a case involving theft of Water and Sewage Company (WASCO) property after an accused failed to secure legal representation.

The accused in this case, Mohau Nkoale (25) of Metolong, is accused of unlawfully and intentionally stealing pressure relief valves and welding machines estimated at M87 500. 

It is alleged that the incident took place at Metolong in Maseru on July 09 2025 and the property was in lawful possession of Moselinyane Moikangoa in his capacity as a Supervisor at WASCO Metolong. 

The court was informed by the prosecution that the mother of the accused had said she had secured a lawyer for him. However, the accused stated that he was not informed about the said lawyer. . .
