Maseru, Oct. 21 — Few days prior to the upcoming 2025 G20 Summit to be hosted in South Africa, the City of Johannesburg will host the first Global South Media and Think-Tank Forum – China-Africa Partnership Conference, from November 12 to 14 in Houghton.
This first-of-its-kind forum on African soil aims to highlight the strengthening ties between China and Africa, providing the Global South with a stronger voice in shaping governance systems.
Lesotho News Agency will be among the media houses to participate in the conference.
The theme of the 2025 forum is ‘Reforming Global Governance: New Roles and Visions for China-Africa Cooperation’. According to the organisers, Global South Media and the Think-Tank Forum, the theme reflects the increasing importance of the China-Africa partnership amid evolving global power dynamics.
