Mafeteng, March 25 — Different farmers in the district will gather at Ha Qaba within Matelile Resource Centre to display their animals at the District Small Stock Show to be held on April 03.
The activity which is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition under the Department of Livestock is aimed at bringing together small stock farmers from seven district Resource Centres namely Matelile, Ribaneng, Mosala, Ramokoatsi, Tsakholo, Kolo and Thabana-Morena.
In an interview with the District Animal Production Officer Mr. Mohale Molomo said the initiative is for the local farmers to share experiences and ideas on how best they could improve their livestock in ensuring the quality products that suit international standard when it comes to wool and mohair. . .
