Maseru, Jan. 14 — There is nothing much seen on the ground with regard to the rehabilitation of the Moshoeshoe I International airport although the government has paid the new contractor M7Million for design.
This was said by Parliamentary Chair of Chairs Mr. Mokhothu Makhalanyane during the Parliamentary Committees Chairpersons and members tour at the Moshoeshoe I Airport on Tuesday.
Mr. Makhalanyane said they visited the airport with the objective to analyse the rehabilitation progress as the government has already paid M7 Million but were told that another certificate, which requires extra M3 Million has to be issued.
“We also wanted to compare the work and progress made by the new contractor against the previous one, ” he said…
