BEDCO TOWARDS ENHANCING NSDP II

Maseru, March. 17 — The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO), Incubation Management Specialist says they are committed towards attainment of National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP) II review extension.

Mr, Munonoki Shava said this in a telephonic interview with the Agency, adding a total of 110 local businesses, mostly owned by the youth that received funding from BEDCO following business proposals submissions competition is proof of supporting NSDP II so as to grow the economy.

He explained that most of these businesses that received thousands and thousands of Maloti from BEDCO are under priority areas within the strategic plan that include agriculture, technology and innovation, tourism as well as trade and industry including other varieties of businesses.

Mr. Shava reiterated that while the youth have well-articulated business ideas, they are faced with a number of challenges that include leadership in the corporate world as well as financial management to mention but a few.
