Berea, July.17 — A parade stood tall and proud at the heart of the Lioli Pitso House in Berea, ready to welcome His Majesty King Letsie III on the occasion of his 62nd birthday anniversary.
The weather offered a conducive atmosphere, with the sun modestly hidden behind the clouds setting the perfect tone for a remarkable celebration.
A vibrant crowd, a graceful King and a spirit of unity made the day truly befitting of royalty.


Supporters from the Lioli, Maroala and Mats’ekha communities came together in harmony to honour their monarch.
A lineup of dignitaries was present to mark the occasion. These included the Chief of Staff of the Eswatini Defence Force, the President of the Republic of Botswana, the Chinese Ambassador to Lesotho, the United Nations Country Representative, the European Union Representative and several other diplomatic partners.
Upon his arrival, King Letsie III was escorted by mounted officers from the Lesotho Mounted Police Service. A wave of ululation filled the air as Basotho women expressed their joy and reverence.
The Royal Family was warmly welcomed to the occasion, with Prince Lerotholi, Princess Senate, and Princess ‘Maseeiso already in attendance ahead of their parents. . . .
