BEREA YOUNG LEADERS REFLECT BACK ON CHILDREN’S PARLIAMENT

Berea, Aug 01—Upon the return of children who represented Berea district at the 2025/2026 National Children’s Parliament sitting, they said more need to be done in order to make education accessible for every child.

Berea young leaders made the remarks as they reflected back on the recent National Children’s Parliament session which debated under a theme, “Planning and Budgeting for Children’s rights, progress made since 2010”.

When approached for a comment, from Lioli High School, Siyabonga Katsana who played the role of Minister of Gender, Youth, Sports, Arts, Culture and Social Development, said his desire was to be on the opposition side looking at many gaps which need to be addressed in order to meet children’s rights, particularly the right to education…RM/BM
