CANCER CAUSES HEALTH MINISTER SLEEPLESS NIGHTS

Maseru, Dec 28 – Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane is spending sleepless nights due to ever increasing cancer patients in the country.

Speaking in an interview at the public gathering at Ha Mokhalinyane in the Rothe constituency on Thursday, Mr. Mochoboroane said there are three major types of cancer being breast, prostate and cervical cancer.

However, he described the cervical cancer as the deadliest of them all, saying according to the Ministry of Health cancer cases that were recorded last year alone of a total of 606 countrywide, 300 of them were of people suffering from the cervical cancer.

The Minister said many women both young and old are continuing to die in the country, where at least one cervical cancer deaths are recorded every weekend. . .
