Mokhotlong, Dec.08– The Minister of Public Works and Transport Mr. Matjato Moteane introduced four Contractors engaged by the Roads Directorate in rehabilitation of roads at a public gathering held in Mokhotlong town on Monday.
They are UNIK Construction Botswana (PTY) Ltd and this company will take nine months to rehabilitate the road from Ha Kotsia to Mokhotlong Hospital starting from January 2026.
Other companies are Big Three Construction, Nele Basaltic Joint Venture and HS Construction. They will embark on rehabilitation of gravel road between Mokhotlong Hospital and Malefiloane in the district for 10 months, also beginning from January next year.
Speaking at the event, Minister Moteane urged the contractors to work and complete the rehabilitation as scheduled.
He said the government is working hard to ensure that a network of tarred roads in the country is improved for smooth movement of people and their goods.
