DUBE ADVICE FOR DECEMBER HOLIDAYS 

Leribe, Dec. 04 — The Executive Director of Bacha Re Bacha (BRB) Youth Forum Mr. Innocent Dube says youth avoid destructive ways of living and be responsible individuals in achieving best life.

Speaking at the five day youth camp hosted by Bacha Re Bacha Youth Forum under Her Voice Project Mr. Dube mentioned that it is intended to empower youth.

In continuation, he said the destructive ways include substance and drug abuse compelled in most cases by peer pressure from other uninformed youth.

“There are people who inspire you to the wrong crowd,” he stated.

Talking about December holidays, he said with December holidays nearing, it is best for youth to refrain from engaging in the above mentioned.

Moreover, Dube elaborated that it is unfortunate that most youth are unable to stop substance and drug abuse once they tasted hence they be careful during December holidays when everyone feel loose in doing everything.

Referring to Human Rights as amongst the discussed topics during the camp, Mr. Dube said human rights are universal and are in conjunction with responsibility.

He advised youth to adhere to human rights but with responsibility.

In an interview with the agency, Her Voice Project Focal Person, Ms. Lijeng Ntokoane said it is expected that the youth change to positive approach in making informed decisions after the camp.

She said the youth are not expected to be part of Early and Unplanned Pregnancy and gangsterism because they have learned prevention measures to such.

In response to how BRB will rate its impact on the youth, she indicated that they are to be traced through their schools, whereby the impact will be long or short. . .
