FORTINET PROGRAM LAUNCHED TO EMPOWER LESOTHO’S IT STUDENTS 

Maseru, Sept.24–In efforts to help Information Technology (IT) students to gain expertise in securing Networks, the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) has officially launched the Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) program in Maseru on Wednesday.

In her remarks during this launch, the Minister of Information, Communication, Science, Technology and Innovation Ms. Nthati Moorosi said in today’s interconnected world, digital technologies are the backbone of the economies, governments, education systems and social lives yet this rapid digital expansion comes with challenges.

She stated that Cybersecurity threats are increasing in both frequency and complexity, targeting individuals, businesses and government institutions saying these threats do not respect borders and their impact can be devastating through undermining trust, disrupting services, and eroding economic opportunities…
