Beijing, Aug.19 — About 100 journalists hailing from 84 countries including Lesotho have embarked on a four-month journey of cultural immersion and professional exchange through the China International Press Centre 2024 Program.
This initiative, organized by the China International Press Communication Centre (CIPCC), aims to offer international media representatives an unparalleled insight into China.
In his remarks CIPCC Director Mr. Yu Lei welcomed the participants saying that they are a big family and this is a good opportunity for them all to promote mutual relations of China and the world.
He said that the exchange program is designed to provide participants with a firsthand experience of China by allowing them to attend major events, including the 2024 Summit of Forum on China – Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) to be early next month as well as the 7th China International Import Expo to be in November. . .
