Maseru, Aug 16 — Director of Elections Advocate Mpaiphele Maqutu says former Commission’s Public Relations Manager Mr. Tuoe Hantsi has been dismissed with immediate effect for misconduct.
The Director of Elections revealed this at the media briefing held at the IEC’s boardroom on Wednesday.
He said Mr. Hantsi had blatantly refused when he called him into his office, saying this means that the employer and employee relationship had completely broken down between him and Mr. Hantsi.
Adv. Maqutu said due to the nature of the case, Mr. Hantsi was given an immediate dismissal after appearing before the disciplinary case and its recommendation was that he be dismissed with immediate effect. . .
